We have many opportunities for local Networks and members to earn grants, scholarships, recognition and more.
The list of available awards are as follows:
Founders Award:
1. To be given to a Past State President who has contributed substantially to the industry.
2. Nominations from any National REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate member must be received by the Recognition and Awards Committee Chair by July 31, 2019.
3. An award of appreciation will be given.
Humanitarian Award:
1. Awarded for outstanding community service on the local Network level.
2. Open to all National REALTOR® and Affiliate Members.
3. Nominations from any National REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate member must be received by the Recognition and Awards Committee Chair by July 31, 2019.
4. An award of appreciation will be given.
Landmark Award:
1. Awarded to local Network or Business Resource Group that has overcome a significant obstacle and/or added value to the State Network.
2. Nominations provided by District Vice Presidents, Governors or Line Officers to Recognition and Awards Chair by July 31, 2019.
3. An award of appreciation will be given.
Joanne McEchren Award:
1. Awarded to any National REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate member who fulfills the application requirements regarding Performance Management Network courses.
2. Applications must be submitted to Committee Chairman by July 31, 2019.
3. Awards are limited to $125 per member per year, to be given to 4 applicant members.
Education Award:
1. Awarded to any National REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate member who fulfills the application requirements regarding approved designations and courses.
2. Applications must be submitted to Committee Chairman by July 31, 2019.
3. Awards are limited to $100 per member per year, to be given to 10 applicant members.
Bobbie Nelson Pathway to Leadership Grant:
QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must have been a Women’s Council of REALTORS® member for 3 years at time of applying for grant and hold active membership. Once in a leadership role as a line officer within an organization (State and National Women’s Council of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS® or National Association of REALTORS®) the member may not apply for another grant from Women’s Council for that specific organization. The grant is not need based. Committee will select grant recipient, and may award at any Women’s Council of REALTORS® California State meeting. The grant may be used for reimbursement for travel expenses, media/public speaking training and any other activity that the committee deems appropriate. An applicant cannot be awarded a grant more than once every other year.
