Governor's report Jeri

As your State Governor for the North it is a pleasure to up date you on my Chapters. The Chapters I serve are Contra Costa, Placer, Napa, Solano, and Sacramento. I have been honored to attend the Placer, Solano, and Sacramento Chapters Fashion Shows. Each was very different from a stag production to a luncheon Fashion Show . Each had their members model and the Chapters made some money. The Napa Chapter has change their President-Elect to Pam Vanderschoot with Prudential Ca. in Napa. Deborah Russell-Broman had to resigned due to a full schedule. The Napa chapter will miss her as their leader. Christine Jameson with Morgan Lane Real Estate in Yountville has stepped up to President-Elect until the end of the year. I have also been fortunate to be invite to the chapters regular meetings and board meetings. The Delta chapter had some changes also. Due to Leilani Souza busy schedule she had to resign as President-Elect, we will miss her. Janice Spencer with Prudential is currently our President-Elect. She just attended the LCP retreat in Chicago and is full of enthusiasm for the coming year.Virginia Carranza with Prudential is know the Vice-President of Membership with Stephanie Wagoner with First American Home Warranty as her Co-Chair of membership. They always say change is good and I am positive both of these chapters are on their way to a very successful year. I am please to announce the formation of the Monterey Peninsula Chapter. We had our first meeting August 3, 2001 in Monterey. There were 25 Realtors in attendance and 9 affiliates. The chapter received 18 applications for membership . Susan Clark with Alain Pinel will be the President for the reminder of this year and next. Congratulations Susan!! We are having a meeting on August 27the to put her leadership team together. I want to thank Susan, Linda Ellen Anderson and Sabrina Schewfelt for their help in forming this new chapter.

It is a pleasure serving you this year and I want to thank all the members for their warm welcome and support. I will continue to attend the chapters fund raisers, general meetings, and board meetings for the rest of the year. I firmly believe that the local chapters and their leadership teams are what makes WCR the success it is. Thanks you again for your support.
