Conejo is going strong! They are in the midst of planning their Wine Festival, to be held just after the State meeting in October. The Conejo and San Fernando Valleys' Chapters are having LTG VII on October 24th. The San Fernando Valley Chapter is going along and it will be interesting to see what happens next year. The Nominating Chapter has presented the slate of officers and Linda had a Board meeting last week which I missed because I was in Las Vegas with Betty Kincaid and Sharee Bigler planning next year's Regional. According to Jim Cobb, a lot more people will join next year and their membership is at about 50 now.
Santa Clarita is struggling, trying to get new leaders. They have members but no one wants to be an officer. Their problem is that they do not attend the State meeting and try to go it alone. I will check with C.J. Wyatt tomorrow and often my help, again. I was down in Palm Springs today, meeting with the prospective new LCP and I really feel that we'll have their charter in to National by end of September. I'm going down for their 3rd organizational meeting on September 19th. At that time, we'll finalize the By-laws and decide on officers. We have 10 members all ready to go. I am scheduled to speak at the Southeast Chapter sometime soon ( I don't have my schedule in front of me), Long Beach Chapter on October 1st and at the L.A./Orange County Chapter in December. My message is always how to get your greatest benefit from being a WCR member - SHOW UP! Emily Link,ABR,CRS,GRI,LTG,SRES, Governor Keller Williams Realty 3825 E.
