By Law Changes

The proposed by-law change is as follows:
Change - Article III - Dues

Section I: (to read as follows) Annual state membership dues for active,
National Affiliate, and non-resident members shall be set by a vote of the
governing board at the 2nd state meeting.

Another item that should be in the upcoming newsletter in the minutes portion
of the newsletter is the following motion which was passed after a lot of
debate. Please check with Sharon to verify the wording, as I gave her a
written motion at the Sacramento meeting after it passed. My recollection of
the motion is as follows:

Any unused budgeted amount in the Education and Programs account to be
transferred to a reserve account earmarked for educational programs. The
amount transferred will be the lesser amount of net profit earned by the
state chapter in the current fiscal year, if any, or the unused budgeted
amount in the Education and Programs account.
