Credentials Committee:

This year as the chair of the Credentials committee and Mary Jane Cambria as the Co-Chair we have had the opportunity to implement a system similar to National WCR. The Credentials Committee is charged with verifying the status of attendees of the WCR California State Meetings.

To be eligible to vote at the meetings, an attendee must be a member in good standing of not only the Local and State chapters, but also the National Chapter. Shortly before each State Meeting convenes, WCR in Chicago sends a current roster to us, which allows us to compile a list of qualified voting member by comparing registrants with the roster. Verified voting members are issued a colored "voting" card when they sign in; when displayed during a call for the vote it will indicate voting eligibility. We are very proud to have this system in place now; it was much needed and takes us to a higher level of professionalism.
