MEMBERSHIP INFO
Joining the California Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® is as easy as finding a location nearest you by clicking on the California Map. Click on the Chapter name and go directly to the membership contact person. E-mail the contact person and include all the information about you, your company, and what Real Estate board you belong to. Realtors may join as National members and take advantage of many benefits. Affiliates, at the Local Chapter level, may join but may not have the same benefits as a Realtor member. If you are unable to locate a chapter in your area, you may join as a member at large through National WCR or contact a Governor for information about starting a chapter.

Professionals eligible for membership are:

REALTORS® or ASSOCIATES® in California, Executive officers of REALTOR® organizations in California.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND EDUCATION

Through Leadership Training Graduate programs, members can become designated as an LTG. This designation is recognized through out the industry as a mark of a Realtor with keen leadership skills. Many Real Estate Boards have sought out WCR leaders to fill the highest positions. WCR leaders work toward the designation, LTG, by taking a series of training classes and fulfilling many other obligations that are required for this prestigious recognition. The class components are as follows:

Learn how to identify and respond to the messages behind the words in order to achieve optimum results.

Learn to expand your power base and get your ideas heard to accomplish your career goals.

To achieve success you must capitalize on your professional strengths to develop mutually rewarding relationships.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
Whether your aim is to pass along information, sell a product or influence a group, You will learn to impress and motivate people with your words.

DEVELOPING REFERRAL AND TRANSFEREE BUSINESS
(1 of 2 courses for the RRC)
Learn how to develop new relocation and referral business through the use of the relocation department, customized relocation kits and working with transferees.

BUILDING CORPORATE RELOCATION BUSINESS
(1 of 2 courses for the RRC)
Learn how to develop new relocation business through wholesale business development, listing and managing RMC property and corporate calling.
